My name is Jashim and I am based in the UK in East London. I have benefited greatly from some wonderful websites and blogs on the internet and I just wanted to set up my own blog in order to share with everyone any useful stuff that I come across.
I am a development officer by profession. You can read a little bit about me in this article that featured in the Guardian in Sep 06:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2006/sep/20/communities6
I have shared many hadiths via the Hadith of the Day posts and have also shared other information on courses, events, articles etc that I have found to be useful. I have also set up a mini bookstore via the blog which I pray will expand into a fully stocked online bookshop supplying books on traditonal Islam.
I hope you also find this blog beneficial and useful. Please keep us in your duas and let us know of any feedback that you may have.

Salams, I was wondering whether you would be kind enough to place my website Muslimbase Hijab Store in your shopping links section. If you would like I will place a link to your blog in my website which is http://www.muslimbase.com/
As salaamu alaikum!
Just messaging to inform you about the following sites, let me know what you think.
http://www.IslamicDesignHouse.com
http://www.SilkRouteClothing.com
http://www.VisualDhikr.com
http://www.Sisters-Magazine.com
I’d grateful if you could mention these sites in you’re blog and provide links to them.
Thanks,
Islamic Design House
Mashallah brother, a nice blog. I’ve added your blog on my blogroll. check out my blogs http://deen-islam.blogspot.com/ and http://sunnah24.blogspot.com/ and if you think it’s ok, add them on your site.
Jashim,
If you want to add Facebook or email sharing buttons to your blog posts, there’s a plugin that does it for you: http://tinyurl.com/sharebuttons
Hope you find it helpful!
Cheers,
Brody
