I need to know what this meeeansss??????? Any authentic commentry???
Salam,
I believe it refers to eating little and not eating to a full stomach as suggested by the following hadith from the chapter on Food in Sahih Al-Bukhari:
It is related that Nafi’ said, “Ibn ‘Umar used to not eat until a poor man was brought to eat with him. I brought in a man who ate with him and ate a lot. He said, ‘Nafi’, do not admit this man to me. I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, ‘A believer eats in one intestine and the unbeliever eats in seven.’”
It is related from Abu Hurayra that a man used to eat a lot. He became Muslim and then he used to eat a little. That was mentioned to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said, “The believer eats in one intestine and the unbeliever eats in seven.”
Hope this helps.

Jumu’ah Mubarak
fi amanAllah
Jumu’ah Mubarak to you to.
Ibn Umar reported Allah’s Messenger as saying that a non-Muslim eats in seven intestines while a Muslim eats in one intestine.
Much like Allah’s she camel. More Muslim science!
This is the religion for the illiterate and the ignorant!!
Rev2214, I would beg to differ as some of the most brilliant early scientists and early mathematicians came from the Muslim Wolrd. We laid the foundations without which you would not have science and technology where it is today!
Arab science not muslim science, not all arabs were muslim, Islam takes too much credit for science they actually didnt actual achieve, and take the credit from the arabs
So exactly how many of these Arab scientists were actually not Muslim ? And what exactly inspired these so called Arab scientists ?
Most of the important ones were Muslim.
It was the Muslim Arabs of Spain that preserved the work of the Greeks in Arabic. If someone at the time wanted to study science he would go to Spain and learn Arabic because it was the only way. One man did this and translated their books into english and brought it to Europe.
This was all during a time when most of the world didn’t care about science and even rebelled against it later on.
IMAGINE if the Muslims didn’t preserve the books of the Greeks and then elaborate on them…we would have had to start all over.
Why would you post a comment solely for the purpose to agitate and to spark a fight? If your purpose is to upset people and attack Muslims, take your quarrel elsewhere.
Also, for the Mu’mins on this thread, we cannot control the classless acts of others, but what we can control is how we respond to them. People like Rev2214 want emotional reactions; don’t give it to him.
